CAMPBELLSBURG – Jerrod Lance Dotts, 41, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 following an automobile accident in Washington County.

Born October 22, 1980 in Paoli, he was the son of Timothy Dotts and Nora Roxann Williams.  Jerrod married Staci Henderson January 23, 2016.

Jerrod was an independent contractor.  He was very artistic and loved to draw.

he loved his grandchildren, Genesis, Everest, and Kysen

                         siblings, Jessica Dotts of Mitchell

                                       Jeremy (Tiffany) Dotts of Mitchell

                                       Joshua (Jamie) Dotts of Mitchell

                                       David Hayes of Ohio

                                       Alissa (Eric) Shoults of Mitchell

His mother; brother, Justin Dotts; and long-time friend, Maynard Hall, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Nathan King officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    You we’re married into my family as a child i had such a short faint memory of you . The marriage not lasting long and we drifted a part. Then at the age of 19 we reunited you didn’t remember me and nor did I remember you until Kenny Told me who your mom was .We as A whole had lots of memories together some of my favorite ones involving Maynard of course the tone you helped me get my daughters belly feeling better.Then to hear how stoked you were when you finally married Stacie I was so filled with joy almost the same reaction to find out I was finally married to Dougie your only reaction was saying it’s about time just a small world I laughed and said yep we’re family again. This is all a lot to take in So sorry for your loss Stacy til we meet again Jed rip
