MITCHELL –Jerry Lee Box, 72, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born October 31, 1950, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Winford Perry and Valorie (Hardin) Box.
Jerry loved holidays when the family would gather to eat. He also enjoyed watching TV.
Survivors include his siblings, Jackie Box of Mitchell, Charles David Box of Mitchell, Lois Marie (Floyd) Graves of Mitchell, and Mary Stevens of Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His parents and siblings Betty Sue Schultz and Chester L. Box preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Roger Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
