MITCHELL – JoAnn Powell, 55, Mitchell, passed away at 6:35 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2006, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 27, 1950, in Bedford, she was the daughter of James and Verle (Davis) Duggins. She married David A. Powell June 14, 1969.
She was an Employee Relations Supervisor at Lehigh Cement Company and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She graduated in 1968 from Mitchell High School and was also a graduate of Indiana Business College.

Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, at Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Wade Judy officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the church.
