MITCHELL John V. Lee, 52, 218 North Cherry Street, Mitchell, passed away Friday,
March 25, at his residence.
Born March 4, 1953 in Vigo County, Indiana, he was the son of Max and Margaret (Ressler) Lee.
He was a 1971 graduate of Rosedale High School, received his bachelors degree in 1974 from Indiana State University, and completed his master’s degree from Indiana State University in 1979.
He was a retired Industrial Arts teacher from Shoals Community Schools. He was a member of Tulip Street Christian Church, the Indiana State Teachers Association and was an avid trader in the stock market. In his youth, he was active in 4-H Club, Boy Scouts of America, and was an avid swimmer and lifeguard.

He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the Memorial Chapel of the Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Darrin Chastain officiating. A graveside committal service will be conducted at the Adams-Lee Cemetery on the family farm in Rosedale, IN at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
