BLOOMINGTON – Rosa Nell Browning, 73, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018, at Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer.
Born July 26, 1944, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of George and Kathleen (Fleenor) Shelton. She married James L. Browning June 29, 1963, and he preceded her in death January 14, 1995.
Rosa retired from RCA and was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. She graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1962.

Her parents; husband; and siblings, George Shelton, Jr., Donnie Shelton, Becky Goble, Sue Donnells, Kay Waters and Polly Shelton, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Clark officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Friday at the church.
