BEDFORD – Sherry Lynn Russell, 66, a long-time resident of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.

Born June 18, 1957, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Oscar E. “Gene” and Mary Alice (Greene) Russell.

Sherry was of the Christian faith and attended The Bride of Christ Fellowship. She enjoyed doing coloring books and seek and finds.

Surviving are her aunt, Virginia Ruth Burlington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her cousin, raised as a brother, Roy (Linda) Hardin of Greenville.

Her parents and siblings, Paul Russell and Marcella “JoJo” Russell, preceded her in death.

Cremation has been chosen with burial at Bethel Cemetery at a later date.
