Chris, Steve, Dan, David, Dana, Joe, your dad was an amazing man who loved you all very much. He was proud of each of you. He was my dads best friend, brother, and rescuer. To me and my sister he was Uncle Bill. We all loved him very, very much. My memories of him will be held in my head always.

Padro. It is so sad Bill is gone. I spoke to him often. As we talked about before, He worked us so hard at Crawford Morris, like him, Bob, Gordon and Tom, we are just hard to kill. I still remember to this day around Christmas or New years 40 years ago Bill and i were unloading a flat car FULL of lumber. 2X8's, 2X10"s, and 2x12's were all on top. Remember the 2x12's 18'? All were on top 3 rows.. The fork lift could NOT reach the top 4 rows on the car. Unload by hand! A holiday was coming so it had to be unloaded NOW! It was so cold and windy that day, me on the City Truck bed, Bill on top of the flat car. Finally Bill needed a cig. and cup of coffee. Better go hide he said to me. They will lay you off. I walked into the insulation/ tile room and was instantly covered in sweat. Bill would have been about 42, me 20.At the time i thought Bill was trying to kill us. He taught us good hard work makes you live. See you Fri.& Sat.
